Crossing the river of fire: Creative Writing Workshop with Ron Whitehead

Join us in Woody Point for an extraordinary opportunity to deepen your creative spark with Ron Whitehead, our first writer-in-residence for Sonic Harvest. At 74, Ron (Louisville, Kentucky) is a poet, writer, editor, publisher, professor, scholar, activist, and U.S. National Lifetime Beat Poet Laureate. He’s a sweet country boy at heart, a UNESCO Europe Writer-in-Residence, and a nominee for both the Pulitzer and Nobel Prize in Literature. His philosophy that "writing is music" is reflected in the unique collaborations he often forms with musicians.
