Writers at Woody Point: Opening Concerts

A few years back – actually more than a few – we had an idea.
What would happen if we paired the face and voice of one of our country’s all-time favourite bands with three of our friends who just happen to be the finest harmony singers around? What would that sound like?

So we talked, and everyone was into it – which figures, because these are all great people.

But then scheduling issues cropped up. And just when it looked like all of the pieces were finally falling into place, the pandemic hit and threw everything out of whack.

But we didn’t forget. We didn’t give up.

And now, it’s 2025….

We are thrilled to announce that our opening concerts this summer will feature, for the first time ever, anywhere, Ed Robertson, backed by The Once, playing favourites from Barenaked Ladies’ songbook.

We’re pretty sure it’s going to be worth the wait...
