We are thrilled to announce that Sarah Polley will be joining us this summer as our festival's first-ever Oscar nominated guest!
Sarah is a true Canadian icon and she's in the running for Best Picture, as well as Best Adapted Screenplay for her incredible screenwriting and direction of the film adaptation of Women Talking based on Miriam Toews' equally incredible novel.
During our festival this August, Sarah will read from her remarkable memoir, Run Towards the Danger. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for an Oscar win for Sarah this Sunday!
