Need a ride from Norris Point to Woody Point to take in a show during this summer? Writers runs a chartered evening water taxi with Bonne Tours for all our summer concerts this summer, starting next Tuesday! This makes our shows accessible for anyone living or staying in Gros Morne.

As anyone who has attended Writers at Woody Point knows, our hosts are the festival's heart and soul. They’re the ones who set the tone for the audience and for the authors and musicians on stage.Ask anyone in our audience what’s unique about those nights and days at the Heritage Theatre and they’ll talk about the feeling the room, the goodwill, the sense that we are all so happy to be there, together.

We love authors who enjoy being on stage. One of the founding principles of our festival was that if we were going to ask people to come indoors in the middle of a perfect Bonne Bay summer, we’d make sure we entertained them.

So this year, we found ourselves looking for a guest interviewer.

Who was out there who would be comfortable behind a microphone, asking questions of one of our authors? And was there any chance that the interviewer could also be an interviewee, someone with their own interesting story to tell? But who might interview them?
